Dr. Teresa Knott
Dr. Knott grew up in a small town in the Texas Panhandle! She always had an interest in healthcare, which led to her working as her childhood dentist’s dental assistant. She loved helping people, especially when it came to getting them out of pain, so she knew almost immediately that she had found her passion.
After graduating in the top 3% of her class, Dr. Knott studied at a local junior college for a year before attending Texas A&M University. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering before being accepted to the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She graduated in 2003 with her dental doctorate, and she has spent the last two decades using everything she has learned to help her friends and neighbors in Sachse maintain, restore, and enhance their smiles. She is so passionate about her craft that she is a member of several professional organizations, like the Texas Dental Study Club, and attends classes offered by SPEAR Education.
Dr. Knott’s experience and training are certainly impressive, but what really sets her apart is how much she genuinely cares. She listens to each and every patient, creates custom treatment plans, uses a gentle hand, and utilizes the latest dental technology – all while providing top-tier customer service.
As for life outside the office, it’s pretty busy for Dr. Knott – she’s got three energetic boys at home! She still makes time for some of her hobbies too, like reading, painting, and walking her Labrador, Lacey.
